Hi!  Late today or more likely tomorrow, in the electronic version of
        NY Times
and maybe a print version, there will be a story about electronic
theses and dissertations.  It will discuss the recent requirement
at W. Virginia U. for submission of ETDs, and also discuss NDLTD in
general as well as some of the news from Virginia Tech.  I hope it
is accurate and helpful!

By the way, just as this was happening, our server machine that
handles www.theses.org and www.ndltd.org went down. We hope to have
it up in some fashion later today in time for people who read the
Times article to satisfy their curiosity.  When we get the bad disk
drive replaced early next week we'll be back up to par, so please
be patient if you run into some glitches.

Which university will follow the first two, representing the two
Virginias, in requiring ETDs next?
