If we're measuring format viability against the half-life of Pu-239, we'll need
to work around the fact that the English language as we know it (or Russian,
French, etc.) will almost certainly be long dead. Maybe they can schedule a
bulk translation every thousand years or so, and update the version of PDF
while they're at it. :-)
