Please see and try out a prototype of a new search service for ETDs at

We will clean this up and connect it to the NDLTD site if it seems to be
of use.

This relates to the NDLTD-Google collaboration which is in beta test
with a representative group of universities. Google is still working on
establishing a baseline for that so we can make comparisons.

Meanwhile, Google has developed a cooperative technology
(http://google.com/coop/), which underlies the prototype mentioned
above.  The above-mentioned prototype is very limited, based on a very
quick attempt to find Web sites that list ETDs.  Please check it out and
send me URLs of other sites I should add, or volunteer to be able to add
URLs you find, in order to help in this task.

We can refine this further with categorization (tagging), etc. Please
send comments and ideas.
