Thanks to everyone who responded with hints on how to find dissertations
in Amazon. Another possibility suggested to me is to go to the
"Advanced Search" and enter "Proquest" in the publisher box. This
retrieved a number of dissertations (as well as individual articles).
It's sort of tricky to find the Advanced Search page. I couldn't find a
link to it from the Amazon homepage, but I got to it by following these
steps:
-selecting Books from the pull down menu next to "Search"
-don't enter a search term, but click "Go"
-On the next screen you'll see Advanced Search as a tab at the top of
the page and as a link next to the search box. Click Advanced Search.
-You now have search form where you can search for Proquest in the
publisher field.
