For those who have joined ETD-L relatively recently, and for those who
have not kept all the old msgs, please note that we have been keeping an
archive for the last 6 years. See in the first msg below a list of the
monthly logs.
To get this list, I sent a msg to
[log in to unmask]
which in the body of the msg had the single line
index etd-l
At the bottom of this msg is another example of using the archive. I
requested a list of msgs where sender is [log in to unmask] It returned a list
of those, and at the bottom gives instructions on what to send to
retrieve just those msgs. Note that my search was undertaken by sending
a msg to
[log in to unmask]
which in the body of the msg I had the single line
Search * in etd-L where sender is [log in to unmask]
If you really want to understand more about archives, you can try to
figure out the documentation on listservs. It is not at all clear.
Anyhow, see the Listserv Manual, Chapter 7, for information on Archives.
