This is true, but this will only be valid for the current session, and then
only providing you don't refresh anything in the master file during that
session. Once you save the output of the search as a file, close the session
and return later, the links are no longer 'hot'. However you can still use
the report by scrolling to the entry you want (perhaps type some sort of
bookmark at this point so you can you can use 'find' to go quickly ot that
point in the document), highlight the significnat piece of data in the
record, right click and use "Hyper-file.

Long winded but does achieve effect. Otherwise it's wait until 4.0 is
released.
